Important Notice: 13. 12. 16
The simple Paypal Checkout I have has begun requiring returning customers to use a Paypal account to pay for orders and new customers to sign up. (more>>) I do apologise for this sudden change, which appeared without warning or notice from Paypal and which is beyond of my control.
If you already pay through PayPal I would expect the checkout process to be still relatively easy but if you have been paying by card in the past or are trying to for the first time, Paypal seems to have started taking a much more aggressive line in trying to sign you up.
I am working as quickly as possible to try to find a way around the problem as I feel customers are entitled to a free choice and an easy buying experience regardless of who hosts the checkout. Sadly as a very small scale trader I am not in a position to pay for a large scale, sophisticated online checkout.
In the meantime I can also process payments by UK cheques, direct Paypal invoicing and bank transfer by individual arrangement so do please get in touch with me at firstname.lastname@example.org I can help get your lovely order to you as quickly as possible!
Thank you everyone for staying with me this year. It’s been a very busy one here with paid magazine work taking priority over speculative art work and as I write I am working against the clock and a few other commitments to get your favourite calendars out in time for Christmas. Working freelance is incredibly time consuming relative to the income it generates so I do apologise when my merchandise is slow in appearing. This year things have been even tighter to fit in as I’ve a big family occasion at the end of October.
I’ve released one of my new paintings to print ahead of the calendars and I hope you really like the pairing of Audrey with that other timeless classic, the Triumph Thunderbird 6T. The print is available in A4 and A3 size and may even go to a limited edition in A2 at some point soon.
Meanwhile, I’ll be renaming the ‘Classic Pinup calendar’ the ‘Pinup and Poster calendar’ this year so I can vary what I include each month and give you chance to sample a broader range of my artwork in my bike themed calendar.
I’ll be aiming to get some Christmas card designs out in early November and the calendars I hope by mid-November so do please look out for the new designs and prints as they appear
Thank you again for your on-going support!
Le Tour map
Thank you everyone for your continuing support! As I live on the route the Yorkshire Grand Depart took, I departed (!) a little myself from my usual motorcycle and car work to respond to the wonderful event by drawing a map showing the routes of Stage 1 and 2, with an emphasis on views of the area around Silsden, where I live. A fantastic lasting souvenir of the visit Le Tour de France made to Yorkshire, you can buy prints in either A4 or A3 size, at the very special price of £30 and £50 respectively, to include UK post and packing. Please enquire for a postage quote if you live outside the UK.
Please do visit my Facebook page, following the link on my homepage, where you'll find my latest work, archive pieces, read my ramblings and have the chance to message me and comment.

You may have noticed in the 4x4s and cars merchandise section that I am offering signed A4 prints of Fred Dibnah’s Land Rover, which I drew last year, and £5 from each sale will go to the Bolton Hospice, where Fred spent his final days and which his family have nominated as the charity to which they would like me to send donations.
Bridget has safely arrived (wonderfully well-packaged!) and she and the BSA looks lovely. Looking forward to getting her nicely framed for The Husband for Christmas.
Hi Louise, thanks for the fast dispatch of the calendar, which arrived today. Another good selection of new work and old favourites. I especially like July (because I like Gainsborough, and this one always made me smile) and October (because the Uffington White Horse is my local landmark......
